Thank you for your interest in Kendall Cares, a grassroots coalition of Christians across Kendall County whose mission is to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of the community. Kendall Cares Clinics provide free services for:
Basic medical, dental, vision, and chiropractic services
Spa services including hair cuts and manicures
Family portraits taken by professional photographers for clinic guests
Clothing Closet
Food Pantry
The next Kendall Cares Clinic is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Plano High School. Planning and organizational meetings for this clinic will be held later this year and will be announced on this website.
The Kendall Cares Clinic relies solely on the generosity of volunteers, local churches and businesses to provide products and services on clinic day. This generosity allows economically challenged Kendall County residents to be served free of charge.
Many, many volunteers are needed to make this day a success. We need medical and other service professionals as well as volunteers to help with registration, food service, and other areas. Review a list of job descriptions here.
Another area of need is supplies. The more donated supplies we receive, the more funds can be directed to further patient care. Review a list of supplies that are needed to make the day a success.
Volunteers from several Kendall County churches have already committed to serve at the Kendall Cares Clinic. You are invited to join us as a Kendall Cares Clinic volunteer. Simply fill out our online form and you will receive a confirmation for your area of interest.
For more information, review the Clinic FAQs. If you can't find your answers in our FAQs, please call (630) 385-8180 or e-mail.
Kendall Cares Clinics were held in both 2010 and 2011, serving more than 500 residents of Kendall County.
