Kendall Cares Clinic
Kendall Cares, a grassroots effort of Christians working together, wishes to thank those who supported the second Kendall Cares Clinic on Saturday, May 21, 2011.
First and foremost, we wish to thank those who were instrumental in making this event a reality: Plano High School and
particularly Assistant Principal Laurel Mateyka, who so graciously provided the clinic facility and recruited student volunteers,
including the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Latinas Unitas. We also sincerely thank the
Kendall County Food Pantry and its executive director, Maria Spaeth, for facilitating food and supplies.
Special thanks to
Dr. Amaal Tokars and the Kendall County Health Department for the partnership in recruiting professionals to serve on clinic
day and providing assistance information to our guests. Thanks to Kathy Braden, manager of the Caring Hands Thrift Shop,
and staff for the donation of the clothing provided. Special thanks to Dr. Julie Conlin, Plano Smiles, for her enthusiasm
in recruiting dental professionals and service on clinic day. We also gratefully thank Scott Munsterman and Mark Tyszka of
First Place Rental of Oswego and Sandwich who so generously provided a large amount of equipment and furnishings used on clinic day.
There are also many organizations which generously supported the effort through donations, gifts in kind and grants.

The Kendall Cares Clinic Committee
The next Kendall Cares Clinic will be on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Plano High School. Planning will begin in early January 2012.
